Monday, December 19, 2016, at the Conference Hall of the “Proton Therapy Center” in Trento, was held the closing conference of the European project “i-locate” (www.i-locate.eu<\/a>).<\/h3>\n

“i-locate, locating people and mobile equipment in the hospital.
\nFinal conference of the European project<\/strong>“<\/strong><\/h2>\n
<\/h2>\n
i-locate<\/strong> (I<\/strong>ndoor\/outdoor LOC<\/strong>ation and A<\/strong>sset management T<\/strong>hrough open gE<\/strong>odata) is a project funded in 2013 by the European Community, with a contribution of 2.36 million euro (4.7 million of expense), distributed over 25 European public and industrial partners.<\/h3>\n
The goal<\/strong> of “i-locate” is to simplify the life of users by helping them to “navigate” inside buildings to reach the destination<\/strong> (public office, clinic, shop, etc.) And providing any information available<\/span> to support (queues, accidents, changes, suggestions, etc.), using their smartphone<\/span><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
“<\/span>I-<\/span>locate”<\/span> also<\/span> provides for the<\/span> tracking<\/span> “<\/span>indoor”<\/span> of<\/span> objects<\/span> and<\/span> portable equipment for their<\/span> localization<\/span>, management and maintenance<\/span>.<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n
During the workshop,<\/span>\u00a0they\u00a0were presented<\/span> the results obtained<\/span> from the Rovereto \u00a0(IT) hospital <\/strong>experimentation<\/strong>.<\/span><\/p>\n
The goal<\/span> is to make known<\/span> health professionals with the opportunities that the “indoor” localization offers in the healthcare environment<\/span><\/span><\/h3>\n
