We are very proud to announce that Trilogis is now part of the Urban Planning Domain Working Group, set up by OGC (Open Geospatial Consortium). OGC is an international consortium which aim to define geospatial and LBS (Location BAsed Sercies) standards.

The members of this DWG are:

Martin Ford, GiStandards John Herring, Oracle USA Giuseppe Conti, Trilogis Jeanne Foust, ESRI USA Leif Granholm, Trimble

The purpose is to create international standards about urban planning, focussing on the concept of Smart City, adopting technologies like:

  • Smart Grid
  • Augmented Reality
  • OGC SWE, Sensor Web Enablement
  • LBS, Location Based Services
